Description

This lovely laced curtained wooden double doorway entrance epitomizes a typical doorway as found in Ciudadella, Spain and other Spanish villages. It is adorned with hand embroidered designs and finished at the bottom with lace, a work of art by the homeowner. The wood is varnished to bring out the grain and the doorway is framed in white paint trim. The walls of the house are painted a rich golden ochre and a marble facing at the bottom finishes the effect.
