As I began working on this image it quickly began to remind me of El Greco's View of Toledo with its stormy sky and surreal landscape, so I continued to enhance the image in this direction.

I photograph anything that peaks my interest. My original photos are used as points of departure to create fresh images that take on new imagery and added dimension. What begins as a photograph may terminate as an impressionistic or abstract image, transformed through various digital painting and computer generated processes.
